July 18th, 2008 Inverness
Before I went to Edinburgh (which was less than an hour away), I went to Inverness - why not? On the first day we encountered the typical Scottish weather, which destroyed my mood. Fortunately for us, when we went on a boat trip to Loch Ness the next day, the sun was shining all day. Inverness is tiny even though it is a capital (of the Highlands), yet it is warm and extremely nice. Did I see Nessie? Guess.
