As you can see, Bittersky.org has a new(ish) header. It was hand-drawn by me. I know it looks kind of childish but it doesn’t really matter. My initial plan was to put up a photo header with a picture taken in Dublin. For some reason the picture didn’t fit too well, and doing so would cause some sort of nostalgia(??). Hence, here, the happy header.
Thank you for the comments on my previous post. I’m still finding university life at home difficult to cope, but for completely different reasons. Perhaps it is an inevitable process, hopefully leading to something big. I hope, eventually, it will also help me grow as much as it hinders and confuses me.
Anyway… To update everyone (who still reads this) with random pictures…

On the left: a random new folder and the schedule book for 2008. On the right: Paddy the Irish(?) cactus in his shiny new pot. XD
I’m now a lot happier and more used to being home - although I still hate it when my parents turn the radio or TV on, there’s hardly ever anything decent on. C-pop? Naah thanks. Thankfully, my micro hi-fi has been doing a great job playing all my favourite Scottish bands.
One good thing about being home is the wonderful access to anime and manga.
My brother has got so many new manga books in his room, which shall keep me busy for a while.
Friends have been trying to get in touch with me to check if I’m still in Glasgow after they have heard/read about what happened at the International Airport. It is very weird to think about, especially because I was there exactly a week ago around the same time. I have been there a bit too much lately and have developed some sort of a fondness towards it. It is rather old, yet very neat and nice. I was a bit angry that they were going to destroy the whole terminal. It is just terrible.
On a brighter note, I’m slowly beginning to appreciate QI. That is genius.
Happy New Year everyone!
Surrendered to the immense power of Livejournal, I’ve totally forgotten about this blog. Hopefully I will get to write a bit more frequently. Being a literature student whose grades are determined by essays instead of examinations, I’m now having 12 more days of holiday when everybody is studying for exams. People usually get to blog more often when they have nothing to do, so it’s fair to expect more entries from me this month.
My winter holiday down in southern Hampshire was wonderful. At times I wished I could stay a bit longer.
I would have uploaded some pictures if I hadn’t look like a square in every single photograph. Feel free to ask me for them if you’re a friend, though!
I haven’t decided what to do during my extra holiday. I was thinking of going to London or going to Lincolnshire to visit Luke (my cousin), but I will not have anywhere nice to stay. Having recovered from a flu and an insomnia recently, I’m not quite ready for another youth hostel trip yet to be honest. Who knows, I might end up staying in Glasgow the whole time and just read and write. That’d save a lot of money and braincells. Or, does anybody possibly have suggestions on how to spend my holiday?
This is one.
It wasn’t the domain god or domain evil who made me do this. It was just the slightly more decent part of me who thought the reverie-lost.net blog was chaotic and didn’t help express myself a lot. Also, it wasn’t quite a good idea to have Tobey Maguire on the blog of a 21 year old single lady. Tobey is cute, a wee bit too cute for my blog, that is. Anyway, welcome to bittersky.org. Above this is the sky of Glasgow. Do you happen to like it as much as I do? I hope you do.
Suggestions on category names are needed. Feel free to throw me anything or everything. Life has been complicated, but I don’t feel like putting an entry under “uncategorized”… yet.
