April 16th, 2008 Who is less than geeky?
Wordpress 2.5 is… spiffy. I played with it some and managed to widgetize my sidebar, which made everything very neat. Now the only thing left to do is to actually write more. Having discussed a few ideas with Michael, I might have gained some inspiration and motivation to. The only problem is that I don’t quite get the difference between categories and tags so I don’t know what to do with those.
Just one thing to update regarding real life, this is my last week at university! I’m a bit freaked out but also glad that it is finally done with.
I shall go back and write some entries which should have been written in March. It was definitely more eventful than this month so far.

I’d say categories are for more general concepts like “university”, “travel”, “writing” etc while tags could be used for smaller, more specific details such as the people or places entries relate to, general feelings present.
Actually, there are no rules regarding it. So you can do anything you like! But if you introduce tags, best not to do what I did and have it flowing down your sidebar for an eternity.
Liking the introduction of Rabbit Holes by the way. We should really write on Seen Fiction again!

I don’t understand the difference between categories and tags either, although Michael’s explanation kind of makes sense, I suppose.
