January 10th, 2007 And it’s 2007

Happy New Year everyone! :D

Surrendered to the immense power of Livejournal, I’ve totally forgotten about this blog. Hopefully I will get to write a bit more frequently. Being a literature student whose grades are determined by essays instead of examinations, I’m now having 12 more days of holiday when everybody is studying for exams. People usually get to blog more often when they have nothing to do, so it’s fair to expect more entries from me this month.

My winter holiday down in southern Hampshire was wonderful. At times I wished I could stay a bit longer. :) I would have uploaded some pictures if I hadn’t look like a square in every single photograph. Feel free to ask me for them if you’re a friend, though!

I haven’t decided what to do during my extra holiday. I was thinking of going to London or going to Lincolnshire to visit Luke (my cousin), but I will not have anywhere nice to stay. Having recovered from a flu and an insomnia recently, I’m not quite ready for another youth hostel trip yet to be honest. Who knows, I might end up staying in Glasgow the whole time and just read and write. That’d save a lot of money and braincells. Or, does anybody possibly have suggestions on how to spend my holiday? :P

You know you can post the same things that you do on Livejournal and here? Just copy and paste. I doubt anyone would visit both sites unless you ask them to. =/
Ohh. I read one of the PostSecret books. They’re pretty creative. I’ve seen some amazing artists there. =]
Maybe go somewhere you really want to go? Or just stay at home.

I’m glad to hear you had a nice holiday in Southern Hampshire! Woah an extra holiday? You’re so lucky! When the next semester starts I will have to study nonstop till Summer break  I hope I can get away for a weekend to Madrid, but… Anyway staying in Glasgow and maybe work on your (future) assignments may make it even more relaxed… I’m not sure. Enjoy your extra holiday!

Aww it sounds like your trip was fun! It’s gotta be awesome to not have to study for finals? Though I think it kinda makes you feel weird having all that time off before taking an exam.

I did an IT degree, so I didn’t have too many exams either. I mostly had project work, especially in my final two years. It’s so much fun not having to study :)

I haven’t read any of the Post Secret books, I think I might have to add them to the ‘to read’ list. Hey, kicking back and relaxing over your holiday is fine - who says you have to go somewhere and spend all your money?

You can post your entries from your LJ here as well, some of us might read them twice, but in actual a lot of people probably only visit one.

Ah, no pictures  I want to see lovely pics! I’m glad to hear you had a happy christmas and a great new year as well.

You could spend your holidays by just relaxing at home! Sometimes it’s good to just laze around in the house and blog endlessly :)

Livejournal = amazing. I’ve had one for years, so I can understand why one would become so addicted to it. Glad your winter holiday went well :)

I’m glad that you had a great winter holiday.

    You’re lucky getting more holidays.
Hope the essay writing goes according to plan.

    Found you at despair.nu!

I’m glad you had fun during your trip! Whatever you decide to do for the rest of break, I hope you have fun! I usually just stay home and catch up on sleep.

I’m one of those infrequent but obsessive-poster type of people when it comes to LJ. I’ve had an account forever but sometimes go for a month without posting. Then, all of a sudden I’ll post 2-3 times a day and completely forget about the blog on my site. Bahh… just too addictive.
